The DIX tune is set for 2-3 octaves with optional C-Instrument. Interplay between bells and the C-Instrument gives variety and warmth to this arrangement. Malleted patterns and snippets of the melody in the middle section build to a grandiose chordal rendition of the tune before closing with a flurry of shakes, marts, mallets, and rung bells.
