In this flowing, multigenerational anthem of peace, Mary McDonald begins with the well-known "Dona Nobis Pacem" with optional treble and youth choirs. The SATB choir explores the Colossians 3:12-15 text, which provides a sense of blessing and mission as we share Christ's peace and love. The treble and youth choirs return, singing the Latin in an interplay with the SATB choir and optional congregation. The piece concludes in a soft "Amen" and "pacem." An optional violin part is included providing another layer to this beautiful blessing.
