The introduction of this important anthem contains strains of the tune DENNIS ("Blest Be the Tie"), and snippets continue throughout the song. Three familiar texts on the subjects of unity and the church are paired with a wonderful new melody from the pen of Marty Parks. The first two stanzas feature unison and two-part writing, while the final stanza features full and pleasing four-part writing. A lovely choral "Amen" concludes the piece.
