David Schwoebel sets a thoughtful text about God's work in our lives to a beautiful melody. The text depicts God as a Master Weaver who is weaving a beautiful tapestry of praise. Because we see the underside of His work, we cannot see the beauty, especially in times of sorrow and hardship. The beautiful melody includes gentle syncopations, and graceful harmonies word-paint this important text. The hymn, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” is creatively woven into the piece, both in accompaniment and in a full stanza with optional congregation. The hymn stanza is supplemented by an optional Soprano descant. The piece ends quietly with beautiful choral writing full of faith and hope.
