Cindy Berry has skillfully written a tender Christmas anthem based on the story of the shepherds. The close harmonies in the verses are complemented by an energetic chorus with a memorable melody. The shepherds are invited to "go and see" the promised Messiah and then "go and share" with others the good news. Following a key change, the final chorus invites everyone to "go and tell" the wondrous story, and the piece concludes majestically proclaiming, "Jesus, our Savior, is born today!"
