Our Great Redeemer's Praise

The traditional Charles Wesley text is combined with the joyful and buoyant tune, LYNGHAM, to create a rousing anthem of praise in this arrangement by Anna Laura Page. Commissioned to honor long-time organist and editor, Sharron Lyon, this setting is full of life and energy. A regal first stanza is followed by a more legato treatment in the second stanza. The third stanza, set in relative minor, beautifully paints the text. A key change provides lift and energy, and the regal style of the first stanza returns with a triumphant ending.

Available separately: Part for Handbells (3-5 octaves); Score and parts for Bb Trumpets 1 & 2, Trombones 1 & 2, Horn in F (sub. for Tbn. 1), Tuba, Percussion, Timpani, and Organ.
