This bright and lovely English melody is enhanced by a lilting keyboard accompaniment and handbells. The first two stanzas with chorus are sung in unison. The remaining "choruses" are set with the lower voices on countermelody by altos and basses. The third and fourth verses are in four parts with handbell obbligato. Handbells play a significant role in the effervescence of this setting.
