The use of free and varied harmonizations accompany this beautiful hymn for Epiphany. The choral parts are easily attainable with much of the choral line being unison or two-part. The key change preceding the majestic final stanza leads into an optional soprano/tenor descant which gloriously soars above the melody to the final cadence. This arrangement's appeal is in the lovely keyboard accompaniment by C. L. Bass which brings new life to the familiar text.
