A triumphant Easter setting begins with a choral and trumpet fanfare repeated as an interlude between verses one and two. The first verse is in traditional four parts for choir with optional congregation singing unison while verse two features choral solo lines for the men, then women. The final stanza features a shimmering soprano descant in repartee with the trumpet, unison choir and congregation singing of Christ's love for His Church. A choral flourish ends the anthem. The trumpet line and accompaniment are woven together beautifully in this arrangement. The trumpet part is moderately challenging.
