A monumental hymn setting opens with a fanfare utilizing all instrumental forces. The choir and optional congregation sing standard harmonization for the first verse, choir sings two-part on verse two and the final verse is melody with a soprano descant. Majestic instrumental interludes increase the anticipation of the finale. The piece is not difficult chorally but sounds brilliant with the involved keyboard parts and addition of 2 trumpets and 2 trombones. The brass parts (included with the download) are very attainable as well.
