After a rhythmically energetic fanfare introduces the hymn, the choir and optional congregation sing the first verse unison melody. The women sing the second verse (SSA) followed by men on verse three. The fanfare material returns for a majestic final verse ending with a choral coda, women in three parts and SATB with both keyboards driving toward a grand finale.
