A flowing accompaniment with harmonic changes support this prayerful new text wed to the familiar GALILEE tune. Three verses are written in identical four-part harmony with the final verse in strong unison with soprano descant which enters in a repetitive motive on each phrase. The contrast between the flow of of verses one, two and three and the march-like verse four aid in the strong textual statement of the final verse.
